Motivação e aprendizagem : um estudo centrado em alunos do 5º ano do ensino fundamental em duas Escolas públicas de Sergipe (2008-2009)

Resumo
O presente estudo trata dos fatores motivacionais, cuja temática vem sendo discutida
intensamente, nas últimas décadas, por pesquisadores na área de Educação e Psicologia, em
virtude do aumento dos problemas relacionados à falta de motivação que influencia,
negativamente, o processo de ensino e aprendizagem. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar os fatores motivacionais que estão presentes no processo de aprendizagem dos alunos do 5º ano
do ensino fundamental de duas Escolas Públicas em Sergipe, sendo uma da rede estadual de
ensino da capital sergipana(Aracaju); e outra da rede municipal de uma das cidades do
interior sergipano (Boquim). Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram 32 alunos. O procedimento
metodológico utilizado foi levantamento bibliográfico, coleta de dados através da aplicação
de uma escala de motivação, entrevistas com os alunos e documentos (atas do rendimento
escolar do ano de 2008). Como resultados, a pesquisa revelou maior pontuação na motivação
intrínseca (MI) do que na motivação extrínseca (ME). Todavia, houve uma acentuada
semelhança nos resultados de medidas centrais encontradas, e a relação com os resultados de
aprendizagem foi pouco significativa.
This study is about the motivational factors subject that has been intensively discussed in recent decades by researchers of the Education and Psychology fields, because of the problems related to the absence of motivation that has influenced, negatively, the process of teaching and learning. The objective of this study was to analyze the motivational factors that influence the learning of students in the sth year of fundamental education at two public schools, one in Aracaju city, from the state net of education, and another in Boquim city, from the municipal net of education. The participants of the study were 32 students. The methodological procedure used was bibliographic research, collection of data through the application of a motivation scale, interviews with students and study of documents (minutes of school performance in the year 2008). The result of the study showed that intrinsic motivation (IM) is greater than extrinsic motivation (EM). However, there was similarity in the results of the central measures found, and the relation between school marks and the type of motivation was not too significant.
