momentos distintos e descobrir respostas normativas relativamente as qualidades físicas. O
funções no contexto sénior.
This internship report was developed during the 2021/2022 sports season, where the hosting entity was Sport Clube Vila Real. This was guided by Professor Filipe Luís Martins Casanova, Professor at the Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, and tutored by Diogo Coutinho, head coach of Sport Clube Vila Real. The main objective of this internship was to carry out a rigorous and in-depth analysis of the development and operationalization process of the Campeonato de Portugal. In this sense, in addition to describing the training process and the different phases that constitute the sporting season, an analysis was carried out of the game model, training, observation, recruitment, individualized strength and preventive work, training control and the evaluation. Through the experience acquired during the internship, combined with the scientific evidence acquired throughout the sporting season, it was possible to conclude: (1) it is extremely important to define the instruments of evaluation, monitoring and training control to be implemented in the team and to normalize the data collection procedure; (2) the use of assessment tools, monitoring and control of the athlete's effort, whether they are more objective assessment, in the case of the Global Positioning System, or more subjective, such as the Perception of Effort, present a fundamental contribution to the management of loads and injury prevention; (3) the data obtained with the use of these tools should have a more decisive role in the prescription and management of training loads. The report includes a study based on the physical and physiological qualities of the athletes of Sport Clube Vila Real. This study was carried out with the objective of measuring and studying athletes at four different times and discovering normative responses regarding physical qualities. The study included 24 players, with a mean age of 24.7 ± 3.7 years, a body mass of 76.8 ± 0.8 kg, an average height of 1.82 ± 0.8 m and a Body Mass Index of 22.8%. With this study we can conclude that the greater the training load applied during the pre-season, the better the physical fitness of the athletes will be throughout the season. It is suggested that the load be increased at the beginning of the season and gradually decreased as the season progresses. To sum up, after the internship, nowadays, I feel more capable of taking on a training team in a Football 11 context, as well as the ability to perform functions in a senior context.
