Resumo
Centrado na questão da liberdade e do convívio interconfessional no Portugal democrático, este texto procura equacionar as formas encontradas pelo universo protestante na adequação às heranças de um monolitismo religioso em Portugal. De facto, mercê dessa pesada herança, as organizações e grupos religiosos só muito recentemente começaram a alterar as suas posturas e lugares sociais. «A Bíblia Manuscrita» é, neste caso, um exemplo de como foi possível ultrapassar essa condicionante, reunindo sob um mesmo projecto grupos religiosos diversos.
Centred on the question of liberty and interconfessional relations in democratic Portugal, this text seeks to relate the ways found by the Protestant universe to adapt to the inheritance of the religious monopoly in Portugal. In fact, due to this heavy inheritance the religious organizations and groups only very recently began to change their behaviour and social positions. «A Bíblia Manuscrita» (The Handwritten Bible) is, in this case an example of how it was possible to overcome this restriction, uniting different religious groups under the same project.
