Formação de professores em língua portuguesa : uma investigação sobre as dificuldades sentidas pelos professores que ministram a disciplina de língua portuguesa, no ensino fundamental II

Abstract

O presente trabalho é o resultado misto de leituras e de uma pesquisa de campo realizada em uma escola da Rede Municipal de Ensino da cidade de José de Freitas, Piauí, Brasil. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo geral descobrir as dificuldades sentidas pelos professores que ministram a disciplina de Língua Portuguesa, no Ensino Fundamental II, no turno da tarde, da escola Orquídea. Para alcançar o referido objetivo, foram pesquisados quatro grupos de sujeitos: gestoras, professores, pais e alunos. Foi uma pesquisa do tipo descritiva, com recurso análise qualitativa. Para tanto, utilizamos dois instrumentos para a coleta de dados: a entrevista semiestruturada (gestoras, professores e pais) e o questionário (alunos), com perguntas abertas, semiabertas e fechadas. Os dados foram organizados, analisados e apresentados através de tabelas e gráficos. Os resultados demonstraram que os sujeitos estudados desejam melhorias para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem, inclusive os professores, em muitos aspectos, mas principalmente no que se refere à leitura e à escrita, assim, reconhecem a necessidade de uma formação continuada, que provavelmente se tornará na contribuição social deste trabalho.

The present work is the result of a combination of readings and of field research undertaken at a school of the Municipality education network in the city of José de Freitas, Piauí, Brazil. The general aim of this research was to find out what difficulties teachers of the Elementary Education II, of the afternoon shift, at Orchid School, who teach the Portuguese Language subject feel. In order to achieve this goal, four groups of people were surveyed: school managers, teachers, parents and students. The research is of a descriptive nature, and the quali-quantitative method was used. To do so, two instruments to collect data were used: a semi-structured interview (we used with school managers, teachers and parents) and a questionnaire (which we used with students), with open, semi-closed and closed questions. The information obtained was organized, analyzed and presented through the use of tables and graphs. The results show that the subjects studied desire improvements in the teaching and learning process, in multiple aspects but mainly in what concerns reading and writing, and thus recognize the need for permanent education which will most likely turn out to be this study‟s social contribution.
