The reflection of Portuguese architecture in the collective urban housing The new paradigm of urban city and the relationship of the architect with the new techniques of construction and socialization are the starting point for this study. In a society in profound change , the problem of urban housing typology advertises itself as saturated programs , there is a need to monitor this new concept by the architecture and promote new housing topics. This study seeks to make room for new morphological ideas of collective housing, in order to address the need and place of architecture in contemporary cities. The Gardening, as chosen topic is undoubtedly a concept in a free rise and very well accepted by contemporary developed societies, is at its meaning, both for its symbolism. It is up to the architect today house the responsibility to implement a new social thought and collective experiences in their art of doing architecture. Promoting the transformation of typical collective urban housing without gardens for new programs and spaces that include a new global direction for adaptation among species is somehow putting the architecture and architects at the forefront of this new paradigm.
