Aplicação do questionário DN4 no estudo da dor com componente neuropático no Hospital do Litoral Alentejano

Resumo
A Dor Neuropática (DN) quando presente no doente internado diminui a sua qualidade de vida e motivação para recuperar o seu processo de doença atual.
Este tipo de dor encontra-se associado a lesões de estruturas nervosas, possuindo um conjunto de sintomas e sinais clínicos muito específicos, que motivaram o desenvolvimento e validação de vários instrumentos de rastreio da DN. Um dos instrumentos que se encontra validado para língua e cultura portuguesa, desde 2007 é o questionário DN4 (Dor Neuropática em quatro questões).
Deste modo, pretende-se aplicar o uso deste instrumento de rastreio para estudar a Dor Neuropática em algumas unidades de internamento do Hospital do Litoral Alentejano e descrever o tipo de tratamento instituído.
The Neuropathic Pain ( DN) when present in the hospitalized patient diminishes their quality of life and motivation to recover their current disease process. This type of pain associated with nerve damage have a number of very specific clinical symptoms and signs, which motivated the development and validation of various DN screening tools . One of the instruments that is validated for Portuguese language and culture, since 2007 is the DN4 questionnaire ( Neuropathic Pain in four issues ) . Thus , we intend to apply the use of this screening tool to study the Neuropathic Pain in some inpatient units of the Hospital of Litoral Alentejano and describe the type of treatment given .
