National Research University Higher School of Economics (Rússia) e teve como objetivo
centrada e descentrada.

This study is part of a collaboration between the EPCV/ULHT with the Université Paris Nanterre (France) and the National Research University Higher School of Economics (Russia) and aimed to verify the connection people have with nature and if this connection is linked to the centered or decentered Self. For this, a survey was carried out with the application of a questionnaire to participants aged over 18 and residing in Portugal. In addition to sociodemographic questions, the questionnaire featured eight scales that were measuring connection with nature, commitment to ecological behavior, and centered and decentered self-measurement. The results allowed the identification of a positive connection with nature by the participants and confirmed that this connection is linked to the decentered Self of each one.
