Pelos caminhos da Museologia e da Educação : sociomuseologia, cidadania e diversidade cultural

Abstract

Este texto apresenta relações intrínsecas entre as áreas da Museologia e da Educação, tendo por base o referencial teórico da UNESCO que alicerçam essas conexões. Estabelece o diálogo com o projeto “Educação para o século XXI”, baseado em quatro pilares fundamentais para a promoção do desenvolvimento cognitivo e social dos seres humanos; e, reflete sobre os impactos de uma educação alicerçada por um novo “contrato social” que permitirá redesenhar um futuro que promova, coletivamente, mudanças socio-políticas-educativas-culturais. Trata-se de um ensaio sobre o papel e a influência do educador brasileiro Paulo Freire na área da museologia, por meio das ações educativas e dos processos museológicos socialmente comprometidos com a emancipação popular. São apresentadas algumas das atividades de Investigação, Desenvolvimento e Reciprocidade de Saberes realizadas pela Cátedra UNESCO-ULHT “Educação, Cidadania e Diversidade Cultural” no ano de 2021. Este período que coincide com as comemorações internacionais do centenário de nascimento de Paulo Freire, permite refletir como o campo da museologia tem reimaginado a práxis freireana em seus processos, territórios de intervenção e projetos educativos.

This text presents intrinsic relationships between the areas of Museology and Education, based on UNESCO's theoretical framework that underpin these connections. Establishes dialogue with the project “Education for the 21st century”, based on four fundamental pillars for the promotion of the cognitive and social development of human beings; and, it reflects on the impacts of an education based on a new “social contract” that will allow redesigning a future that collectively promotes socio-political-educational-cultural changes. This is an essay on the role and influence of the Brazilian educator Paulo Freire in the field of museology, through educational actions and museological processes socially committed to popular emancipation. Some of the Research, Development and Reciprocity of Knowledge activities carried out by the UNESCO-ULHT Chair “Education, Citizenship and Cultural Diversity” in the year 2021 are presented. how the field of museology has reimagined Freirean praxis in its processes, intervention territories and educational projects.
