TEDQUAL na formação profissional : uma aplicação às escolas profissionais no turismo

Resumo
O Turismo tornou-se numa das atividades mais competitivas a nível mundial o que
desafia a qualidade dos recursos humanos. Assim, a competitividade exige profissionais com
uma bagagem de competências, nomeadamente no que se refere ao “saber-fazer”, “saber-ser”
e “saber-estar”.
Assim, o presente estudo tem como objetivo perceber as implicações de um modelo de
referência como o TEDQUAL na perceção da qualidade ao nível da formação profissional.
Desta forma, esta pesquisa pretende verificar a influência que as variáveis independentes:
expectativas e satisfação dos educandos, satisfação dos educadores, perceções dos
empregadores e as expectativas que os empregados têm na variável dependente perceções da
qualidade. Torna-se importante definir os conceitos de satisfação, expectativas e perceções e
enfatizar a sua importância nas perceções da qualidade do curso técnico de turismo nas escolas
profissionais.
Constatou-se que um maior grau de recomendação dos empregadores e empregados
influência positivamente as perceções da qualidade do curso, assim como a satisfação dos
educadores. Também se concluiu que existe correlação entre as variáveis expetativas e
satisfação dos alunos no que respeita às perceções da qualidade.
Podemos concluir que os alunos que frequentam ou frequentaram o curso técnico de
turismo ficaram satisfeitos com o processo de ensino-aprendizagem, tendo este correspondido
às suas expectativas e que existe uma forte relação entre a formação e o mercado de trabalho,
representado pelas empresas do setor turístico.
Tourism has become one of the most competitive activities in the world which challenges the quality of human resources. Thus, competitiveness requires professionals with a range of skills, in particular as regards "know-how" and "knowledge". Thus, the present study aims to understand the implications of a reference model such as TEDQUAL in the perception of quality in professional training. In this way, this research intends to verify the influence that the independent variables: expectations and satisfaction of the students, the satisfaction of the educators, the perceptions of the employers and the expectations that employees have in the dependent variable perceptions of quality. It is important to define the concepts of satisfaction, expectations and perceptions and to emphasize their importance in the perceptions of the quality of the technical course of tourism in vocational/professional schools. It was found that a higher degree of recommendation from employers and employees positively influences the perceptions of course quality, as well as educators' satisfaction. It was also concluded that there is correlation between the variables expectations and students' satisfaction with regard to quality perceptions. We can conclude that the students who attended or attended the technical course of tourism were satisfied with the teaching-learning process, which corresponded to their expectations and that there is a strong relationship between training and the labour market, represented by companies in the tourism sector.
