Resumo
A presente dissertação aborda o Património Cultural e concretamente o Figurado/Bonecos de Estremoz, e foi realizada tendo como base a Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, no ano letivo 23/24 no Agrupamento de Escolas Gabriel Pereira em Évora, onde foi desenvolvida a Unidade Didática "Modelar o Património". O Património Cultural é algo que associamos ao passado e que pensamos estar guardado na história de uma sociedade. Porém o Património Cultural é muito mais do que isso pois testemunha e expressa valores, crenças e saberes de um determinado povo, em determinado contexto, e é algo que pode ser usufruído por todos nós e acima de tudo exige ser salvaguardado. O património cultural abrange não só o património material, como também o património imaterial como é o caso do Figurado de Estremoz. Nesta Unidade Didática, quis dar-se a conhecer aos alunos um património cultural imaterial que está muito perto deles, mas que a grande maioria desconhecia, apesar de Estremoz ser uma cidade pertencente ao concelho de Évora e o Figurado de Estremoz ser uma tradição local classificada pela UNESCO. O Ensino das Artes pode articular-se de modo relevante e benéfico com a educação patrimonial, contribuindo para o conhecimento, sensibilização dos alunos, consciencialização da importância da preservação desse património, e papel que pode desempenhar na formação e desenvolvimento da identidade pessoal e coletiva.
This dissertation addresses Cultural Heritage and specifically the Figurado/Bonecos of Estremoz, and was carried out based on Supervised Teaching Practice, in the academic year 23/24 at the Gabriel Pereira School Group in Évora, where the Didactic Unit was developed “Modeling Heritage”. Cultural Heritage is something that we associate with the past and that we think is stored in the history of a society. However, Cultural Heritage is much more than that as it bears witness to and expresses the values, beliefs and knowledge of a particular people, in a particular context, and is something that can be enjoyed by all of us and above all demands to be safeguarded. Cultural heritage encompasses not only material heritage, but also intangible heritage, such as the Figurado de Estremoz. In this Didactic Unit, I wanted to make students aware of an intangible cultural heritage that is very close to them, but that the vast majority were unaware of, despite Estremoz being a city belonging to the municipality of Évora and the Figurado de Estremoz being a local tradition classified by UNESCO. Arts Education can be linked in a relevant and beneficial way with heritage education, contributing to knowledge, raising awareness among students, awareness of the importance of preserving this heritage, and the role it can play in the formation and development of personal and collective identity.
