Resumo
Este relatório está inserido no Mestrado em Treino Desportivo da Universidade
Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, tendo sido elaborado no 2º ano letivo, através
da realização de um estágio na modalidade de ténis. O estágio teve lugar na escola de
ténis do Clube Académico de Desportos, durante toda a época desportiva de 2015, tendo
acompanhado um atleta do escalão de Sub-16 mas que também participa nos escalões de
Sub-18 e Seniores.
O relatório centrou-se na descrição, análise e reflexão sobre o processo de treino
observado ao longo do tempo de estágio, com o acompanhamento e observação de um
atleta de competição, com objetivos de rendimento ao nível nacional.
A época desportiva foi periodizada em 3 macrociclos, 24 mesociclos e 51
microciclos. Cada macrociclo conteve os seguintes períodos: preparatório geral;
preparatório específico; pré-competitivo; competitivo; e de recuperação. Cada período,
teve uma sessão de treino padrão que foi analisada e discutida segundo a literatura.
Os objetivos do atleta foram divididos em gerais, de processo e de resultado. O
atleta conseguiu atingir 23 dos 29 objetivos definidos no início da época, melhorando o
ranking em todos os escalões: de 104º para 63º, no escalão de sub-16; de 151º para 124º,
no escalão de sub-18; e 216º, no escalão de seniores.
This report is included in the Masters in Sports Training at the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies, and was elaborated during the second year of the course, through the accomplishment of an internship as a tennis coach. The internship took place at the Academic Sports Club tennis school during the entire sporting season of 2015, accompanied by an Under-16 athlete who also participates in the U18 and Senior levels. The report focused on the description, analysis and reflection of the training process observed during the internship period, with the follow-up and observation of a competition athlete, with performance objectives at the national level. The sport season was periodized in 3 macrocycles, 24 mesocycles and 51 microcycles. Each macrocycle contained the following periods: general preparatory; specific preparatory; pre-competitive; competitive; and recovery. Each period had a standard training session that was analyzed and discussed according to the literature. The objectives of the athlete were divided into general objectives, process and result. The athlete managed to achieve 23 of the 29 goals defined at the beginning of the season, improving the ranking in all levels: from 104º to 63º, at the Under-16 level; from 151º to 124º, at the U18 level; 216, at the senior level.
