A integração da Educação Visual na literacia do oceano : uma abordagem transdisciplinar entre arte e ciência

Resumo
Esta dissertação, realizada no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, do Mestrado em Ensino das Artes Visuais no 3º ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário da Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa, decorreu na Escola Básica 2/3 de Santo António, Faro, durante o ano letivo 2023/2024. A intervenção pedagógica foi desenvolvida com uma turma do 8.º ano na disciplina de Educação Visual, utilizando a metodologia de investigação-ação. Foi elaborada uma Unidade Didática, de acordo com as Aprendizagens Essenciais e o Perfil do Aluno à Saída da Escolaridade Obrigatória, ajustada à temática da Literacia do Oceano. A proximidade dos alunos ao oceano, facilitou a abordagem para questões ambientais, promovendo a sensibilização e a preservação dos ecossistemas marinhos. A Unidade Didática teve como objetivo integrar conteúdos interdisciplinares e desenvolver competências criativas, explorando o conhecimento sobre o oceano e incentivando para uma reflexão ambiental. A literacia do oceano permite que os alunos entendam e reconheçam a influencia do oceano nas suas vidas e como as suas ações podem afetar o oceano.
This dissertation, carried out within the scope of the Supervised Teaching Practice of the Master's Degree in Visual Arts Teaching at Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa, took place at Escola Básica 2/3 de Santo António, Faro, during the academic year 2023/2024. The pedagogical intervention was developed with an 8th grade class in the Visual Education discipline, using the action research methodology. A Didactic Unit was created, in accordance with the Aprendizagens Essenciais and the Perfil dos Alunos à Saída da Escolaridade Obrigatória, adjusted to the theme of Ocean Literacy. The students' proximity to the ocean supported the above-mentioned approach of raising awareness on environmental issues and the preservation of the marine ecosystems. The Didactic Unit aimed to integrate interdisciplinary content and develop creative skills, exploring knowledge about the ocean and encouraging environmental reflection. Through ocean literacy education the students can recognize the influence of the ocean in their lives and how their daily action can impact the ocean.
