Identidade e alteridade em Teixeira de Pascoaes : leitura estético-metafísica da figura do Santo como estrangeiro

Resumo
A presente análise estético-metafísica do pensamento de Teixeira Pascoaes, figura incontornável da cultura portuguesa, parte de uma dialéctica de precipitações entre as categorias de identidade e alteridade que não se dissocia de uma cartografia do estrangeiro. A figura do santo recusa a (in)existência pessoal e difunde, no excesso de um processo de saída de si, a admiração do mundo e da alteridade, não como espectador,mas como categoria criativa de todos os existir. O santo propulsiona a tensão plástico-cósmica entre temporal/intemporal e integração/desintegração, numa hierarquia ontocosmogónica que se fundamenta numa metafísica amorosa do procurar(se). Trata-se de uma escatologia do desmascarar ontológico do eu e do absolutamente Outro, o tornar-se estrangeiro nos aspectos plurais de libertação e reclusão.
The present aesthetic-metaphysical analysis of the thought of Teixeira Pascoaes, unavoidable figure of the portuguese culture, commences in a hasting dialectic between the categories of identity and otherness and does not dissociate itself from a cartography of the Foreigner. The figure of the saint refuses the personal (in)existence and spreads, in an exiting excess process from himself, the ad-miration of the world and of otherness, not as a spectator, but as a creative category of all modes of existence. The saint propels, on an onto-cosmogonic hierarchy that is based on a self seeking devoted metaphysics, the plastic-cosmic tension between temporal / timeless and integration / disintegration. At stake is an eschatology of ontologic demasking of the self and the absolute other, i.e., the becoming foreigner in the plural aspects of liberation and imprisonment
