The aging process, being natural to our nature, is characterized by the decline of different cognitive functions, such as executive functions, that enable regular control of their actions, thoughts and behaviors previously adaptable to objectives. Therefore, assessments that can investigate how higher mental functions are important. This video is in which are, should be complemented with the working of daily actions, are being must, must be complemented with capacity of individual tasks. And virtual reality environments are presented as emergency candidates to improve or increase the duration of neuropsychological assessment. The main objective of the present study was to compare with the evaluation of tests a paper and pencil versus evaluation using a virtual reality platform, as well as a relationship between the tests in a senior population. The comparison was made by 18 participants, 6 female (33.3%) and 12 male participants (66.7%) with mean age of 70.5 years (SD = 5.36), and with a mean of 6.33 years of schooling (SD = 3.44). The evidences are a significant difference between the MoCA and the number of hits in the Sapateira (r = 0.545; p = 0.019); between the cooking time (r = -0.551, p = 0.018) with the FAB result; The time of the CTT1 and the time of CTT2 (r = 0.0502, p = 0.034). The results found in SLB are associated with a cognitive and frontal malfunction of the frontal lobe, evaluated respectively by MoCA, FAB and CTT1 and 2. The results of the global cognitive functioning of the study suggest that performance each time as a resource such as virtual reality platforms with ecological confirmation or attest the performance of neuropsychological tests, confirming that it may be a great predictor of cognitive functioning and functioning of the frontal lobe.
