Avaliação da interação em ambiente virtual do curso de administração de uma instituição de ensino superior na modalidade educação a distância

Resumo
As instituições educacionais vêm passando por transformações significativas, quanto à forma
de ensinar, independentemente do nível de escolaridade que a instituição oferte (ensinos médio,
técnico, graduação ou pós graduação). Dessa forma, merece destaque neste cenário de
mudanças, a modalidade a distância, a qual vem crescendo de maneira relevante, em todo o
mundo, seja pela flexibilidade que a mesma oferece a quem pretende ingressar em um curso
superior, caso específico deste estudo, seja pelo custo acessível das mensalidades, o que atrai
cada vez mais estudantes a aderirem a EaD. Neste sentido, as universidades, em geral,
procuram ofertar cursos com tecnologias avançadas, recursos adequados para um melhor
aprendizado, com suporte pedagógico que supra as devidas necessidades dos alunos, por meio
da capacitação dos seus professores e tutores, e criação de polos presenciais, de acordo com o
que é preconizado pela lei. Não resta dúvida que este novo cenário exige mudanças radicais
quanto ao papel do professor e do aluno, e dessa forma, as características próprias de ambas as
partes precisam de ser repensadas, adequadas e analisadas, para que a aprendizagem de fato se
concretize. Diante desta realidade, destaca-se a Universidade do estudo, na qual se implantou,
em 2009, a referida modalidade, ofertando cursos de educação a distância. Nessa perspectiva,
esta dissertação tem como objetivo geral analisar as percepções de alunos e professores sobre a
interação desenvolvida em ambiente virtual no curso de Administração de uma IES na
modalidade EaD, e o efeito que esta distância exerce no ensino e na aprendizagem. Para que a
investigação fosse realizada, a estratégia de pesquisa utilizada foi uma abordagem qualitativa
de um estudo de caso, conjugando instrumentos e técnicas qualitativas e quantitativas, com
recurso à realização de entrevistas e à aplicação de questionários. Diante da realização do
processo investigativo, através dos resultados oriundos da pesquisa, evidenciou-se que a
instituição em foco oferece um ambiente virtual de aprendizagem favorável ao aprendizado do
aluno, no que tange o curso de Administração. Através do mesmo, alunos e professores têm a
oportunidade de exercitar novos papéis, e pôr em prática e aprofundar novas habilidades e
competências. Em consequência, é evidente mais autonomia e responsabilidade do aluno, para
gerir o seu tempo de estudos, desfrutando da flexibilidade da EaD, permitindo assim maior
comodidade e praticidade no processo de ensino e aprendizagem.
The Educational Institutions have undergone significant transformations, in the way of teaching, regardless of the educational level offered by the institution (high school, technical, university graduate or postgraduate). In this way, it is necessary to highlight in this scenario of changing, the modality of distance education, which has been growing in a relevant way all over the world, either by the flexibility offered to who intend to join in a university course, it is the point of this study, or by the accessible mentalities costs, which attract more and more students to join the DE. Thinking about that, universities, in general, seek to offer courses with the most advanced technologies, right resources to provide the better learning, with a pedagogical support that meets the needs of the students, capacitating their teachers and tutors and creating presence poles, according to what is determined by law. There is no doubt that this new scenery demands radical changes in the teacher and students role, in this way, the specific characteristics of both parts need to be rethought, fitted and analyzed to make the learning the most effective. In front of this reality, stands out the University of study, in which it was implanted in 2009 the above-referred modality, offering distance education courses. In this perspective, this dissertation aimed to analyze the perception of the students and teachers about interaction developed in a virtual environment in the administration course in an IHE in the DE modality, and the effect exercised by the distance in the teaching and learning. To make possible the realization of the investigation, the search strategy used was a quantitative approach of a study of case, combining quantitative and qualitative tools and techniques, using interviews and the application of questionnaires. In front of the realization of the investigative process, through the results of the research, it was evidenced that the highlighted institution has a virtual learning environment proper and friendly to the students learning, in the matter of the Administration course. Through this, students and teachers have the opportunity to play new roles and practice and improve news skills and competencies. In consequence of that, it is evident the more autonomy and responsibility of the students, to manage their time to study, to enjoin the DE flexibility, thus allowing greater convenience and practicality in the teaching and learning process.
