This paper aims to analyse the process of a devised and executed training by the technical team of seniors, the Sacavenense Sport Group, as well as a description of its game model. In the season 2016/17, it was characterized that the Essential exercises Form III were the most used to operationalize the model of game conceptualized, representing the exercises with two goals (GR+defense/attack against attack/defense+ GR), approximately (46.5%) of the total time of training. These data are ratified when comparing the training methods used in the precompetitive and competitive periods. Microciclos (Mcr) from both periods, pre-competitive (Ppc) and competitive (Pco), were defined considering only one competitive moment, having reached the following conclusions: (i) The most commonly used exercises in the microcycle of pre competitive period were those of Form III (56.4%) (mantaining ball possession exercises and competitive exercises); and (ii) when comparing the Mcr of Ppc and Pco we saw a continuation of the exercises of Form III (46.5%) and a significant increase in general exercises (11.7%) with works of circuits, strength and plyometrics. The results confirm that the training methods should be closely linked to one another and reveal a transfer, in a logical way, of what it is intended to transmit.
