A metodologia

Reportedly, what must often be a faithful record of reality is actually often increased and transformed digitally. This research aims to provide an interpretation of the causes inherent in the photographic imaging process by graphic designers. The methodology adopted, the type of case study involves a sample of 6 professional graphic designers. The qualitative approach is conducted by semistructured interviews and supported by instruments used in visual research such as analysis of photos and videos, the latter made by the designers themselves. After analyzing the data provided, the main findings indicate that the graphic designer can be seen today as a multifaceted professional for which, despite the devaluation of photographic material, this is one of its main tools. The modification of the represented reality, more than the consciousness of this professional, is a reflection of technological changes and reflects the environment in which it occurs.
