dc.description.abstractInspirado nas mudanças de paradigmas da História de Arte este estudo investiga o contributo da experimentação criativa e da produção de imagens nos métodos interpretativos das obras de arte, no processo de ensino-aprendizagem dos alunos do Ensino Artístico Especializado de Produção Artística da Escola Secundária de Carcavelos. Através do projeto “Interpretações Pictóricas” os alunos experienciaram a interpretação de obras de arte do passado através de discursos imagéticos, que lhes facilitou um primeiro contacto com a obra. Este estudo segue a metodologia da investigação-ação, onde os conteúdos da disciplina e os objetivos curriculares orientaram a escolha de uma abordagem metodológica. O estudo mostra que os alunos se sentiram motivados, interventivos e satisfeitos com a produção de imagens na interpretação das obras de arte do passado, neste caso especifico “o século XVII”, tal como demonstra também a necessidade de um debate entre a continuidade da tradição pedagógica expositiva e a necessidade de se encontrarem novas metodologias que estimulem o pensamento crítico, a criatividade e a construção da aprendizagem do aluno, tornando o ensino da História da Arte aberto a outras abordagens que fazem da experimentação, da capacidade artística do aluno, um extraordinário auxílio da teoria. O docente deve olhar para a História de Arte como um processo que não é único, nem com uma só direção (Belting, 1995). dc.description.abstractInspired by the paradigm shifts in Art History this study investigates the contribution of creative experimentation and image production in the interpretative methods of artwork in the teaching-learning process of students of the Specialized Artistic Teaching of Artistic Production of the Carcavelos Secondary School. Through the project " Pictorial Interpretations" students have experienced the interpretation of artworks from the past through imagetic discourses, which facilitated a first contact with the artwork. This study follows the methodology of action research, where the subject contents and the curricular objectives guided the choice of a methodological approach. The study shows that the students felt motivated, interventive, and satisfied with the production of images in the interpretation of artwork from the past, in this specific case "the 17th century", just as it also demonstrates the need for a debate between the continuity of the expository pedagogical tradition and the need to find new methodologies that stimulate critical thinking, creativity and the construction of the student's learning, making the teaching of Art History open to other approaches that make experimentation, the student's artistic ability, an extraordinary aid to theory. The teacher must look at Art History as a process that is not unique or with only one direction (Belting, 1995). The success of the activity carried out aroused the interest of the students involved and enhanced the learning process in the teaching of the History of Culture and Arts.en
