as capacidades (66,6% dos atletas melhoraram resistência; 66,6% a força m.s.; 81% a
força abdominal; 85,7% a força m.i.; 57,1% a velocidade máxima; 61,9% a velocidade
In this internship report I will describe the entire internship process carried out at the U17 youth level from Clube Desportivo de Tondela carried out during the 2020/2021 season, within the scope of the Master in Football - from Training to High Competition, from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, from the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies. Throughout this document it will be possible to learn a little about the history of Clube Desportivo de Tondela; understand the available resources to be used by the level in which I was inserted; know my roles and everything I performed throughout the process; my goals and those of the team; understand the training, game and observation processes; and clearly analyze the evolution of this team over the competitive period. This document ends with a technical-scientific study carried out in the team in question, in which its objective was to understand the influence (positive or negative, significant or not) of carrying out training plans during the confinement period (generated due to the outbreak global pandemic), in the assessment of the conditional capacities of 25 athletes from a youth football team (15 and 16 years old), by comparing the results obtained in two evaluation moments. In the pre-season period, the first evaluation moment was carried out. Different tests were applied to evaluate specific Resistance, Strength (namely, upper limb strength, abdominal strength and lower limb strength), Velocity (maximum and acceleration) and Flexibility (Modified Sit-and-Reach). During the period of inactivity (confinement), training plans were sent to these athletes to perform during the week (three to four training sessions per week) from November 10 to April 27. At the end of the competitive moment (one week after the last game of the season) the second moment was performed. It was concluded that the training plans sent, which aimed to work on these capacities, had a positive influence on all capacities (66.6% of the athletes improved resistance; 66.6% improved strength; 81% improved abdominal strength; 85.7% improved strength mi; 57.1% maximum speed; 61.9% acceleration speed; and 42.8% flexibility). In short, the report highlighted the entire exercise of the trainee coach's functions in the sub.17, enabling the full acquisition of the multiple skills of a Football coach.
