Resumo
A partir de um estudo de François Soyer, é nosso objectivo fazer um “estado da arte” sobre a expulsão dos judeus dos reinos de Castela e Aragão, especialmente no que respeita às principais implicações para com o reino Português. Iremos olhar para alguns dos aspectos mais significativos, tentando entender o contexto histórico, centrando a nossa atenção nas negociações entre algumas famílias judias e o monarca Português. No final, de forma comparativa, mostramos os diferentes valores indicados pelos vários autores e historiadores para este grande migração, bem como os valores,os pagamentos então necessários para as portagens.
starting from a study of François soyer, in this paper it is our aim to do a state of the art about the expulsion of the Jews of the kingdoms of castile and Aragon, regarding to the main implications of that in the Portuguese kingdom. We will gone take a look to the most importante aspects, trying to understand the historical context, focusing our analysis on negotiations between some Jewish families and the Portuguese monarch. At the end, in a comparative way, we show the diferents values apointed by the different authors as historians, for this big migration, as well the amounts, the payments needed for the toll.
