A intervenção do serviço social nas CPCJ’S : contributos para a análise metodológica da intervenção

Resumo
A presente investigação pretende analisar as metodologias de intervenção do Serviço Social na promoção e proteção dos direitos das crianças e jovens em perigo.
O campo empírico é constituído pelas Comissões de Protecção de Crianças e Jovens em Perigo, instituições não judiciais que promovem e protegem os direitos das crianças em perigo/risco.
Pretende-se analisar as metodologias utilizadas nas diferentes fases de intervenção, identificar os princípios e valores subjacentes à prática profissional nesta área, bem como as principias referências teóricas.
Para realizar a presente investigação foi utilizada uma metodologia qualitativa, tendo em conta os objectivos definidos. Os dados foram recolhidos através de entrevistas semidirectivas, às quais foram aplicados a análise categorial de conteúdo.
Os resultados encontrados demonstram que a prática da metodologia do serviço social nas CPCJ´s consiste em promover e proteger os direitos das crianças em perigo. É caracterizada por cincos fases, baseia na articulação com os serviços externos e a intervenção em rede; utiliza modelo ecológico como principal modelo teórico para analisar a situação.
Os principais instrumentos e técnicas utilizados são a visita domiciliar e Lei 147/99, e a entrevista. Os princípios e valores orientadores da intervenção estão legislados na Lei 147/99 que serve como modelo de protecção e promoção dos direitos das crianças em Portugal.
This research aims to analyze the intervention methods of social work in promoting and protecting the rights of children and young people in danger. The empirical field consists of the Commissions for the Protection of Children and Young People in Danger, not judicial institutions that promote and protect children's rights in danger / risk. It is intended to analyze the methodologies used in the different stages of intervention, identifying principles and underlying values professional practice in this area, as well as theoretical references. To conduct this research, a qualitative methodology based on abductive strategy, taking into account the objectives set, was used. Data were collected through semi directive interviews, which was applied content analysis. The results show that the practice of social work methodology in CPCJ's is to promote and protect the rights of children in danger.
