Being inclusion a complex concept in its understanding, this study aimed to explore more about this theme and, above all, understand the expectations that families of children with multiple disabilities have regarding their school inclusion. Discovering inclusive paths and new pedagogical practices are highlighted as challenges in the inclusion of these children, who, in turn, do not meet the expectations of these parents. Understanding the barriers in this process is important, but the main objective of this report is to know the expectations that exist in these households. Five interviews have been conducted with mothers of children with multiple disabilities, with the goal of understanding their expectations regarding their child school inclusion, grasping how families perceive inclusion, and gaining a better understanding of their family dynamics. It was through this information collection that the data provided by the interviewees were analysed, subsequently addressing the main question posed at the beginning of this study. It has been concluded that concerns about the child’s future, the difficulties felt by the interviewed single parents and lack of support to these families motivate their weak expectations regarding the inclusive process of their children, as they feel helpless. Keywords: Multi-disability; Inclusion; Expectation; Special Education
