| dc.description.abstract | O bullying é um problema sério e actual e que ainda carece de investigação. Foram objectivos do presente estudo a comparação entre géneros da prevalência de bullying, tanto nas vítimas como nos agressores, o tipo de bullying e os lugares na escola onde ocorre; e a avaliação caracterização das crianças do 2º Ciclo face ao bullying. Uma amostra de 204 crianças, 102 rapazes, com idade média de 10.75 (DP=.82) e 102 raparigas, com idade média de 10.62 (DP=.69), preencheu individualmente o protocolo composto por: Questionário de Bullying; Questionário de agressividade; Teste de Realização Motivacional para Jovens de Denver; e Inventário de ajustamento de Weinberger. Os resultados confirmaram existir mais agressores rapazes que raparigas; que estes são mais vítimas de bullying directo físico; que o local da escola mais referido para a ocorrência de bullying é o recreio; que as vítimas apresentam mais agressividade, mas não mais mal-estar psicológico; e que nas vítimas, quanto maior é a agressividade mais elevado é o mal-estar psicológico. | dc.description.abstract | Bullying is serious and current problem, and further studies are needed. The objectives of this study were to compare gender prevalence of bullying in both, victims and aggressors, the type of bullying and school places where it occurs; and the characterization of children of the 2nd cycle. A sample of 204 children, 102 boys, mean age of 10.75 (SD =. 82) and 102 girls, mean age 10.62 (SD =. 69), completed the protocol individually composed of Bullying Questionnaire; Questionnaire aggression; Motivational Achievement Test for Young Denver; and inventory adjustment Weinberger. The results confirmed there are more boys than girls aggressors, that boys are more direct victims of physical bullying, the local school more noted for the occurrence of bullying is the playground, that victims present more aggression, but not more psychological stress and for the victims, the greater the aggression, the higher the psychological distress. | en |
