Resumo
Esta investigação, sob a perspectiva da Sociomuseologia, e com base em experiências de planejamento museológico, busca compreender a relação entre a Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU) e sua dimensão museal, com foco em quatro museus de seu Sistema de Museus (SIMU): Museu de Biodiversidade do Cerrado (MBC), Museu de Minerais e Rochas (MUMRO), Museu DICA - Diversão com Ciência e Arte (DICA) e Museu Universitário de Arte (MUnA). A pesquisa explora reciprocidades entre a pedagogia da Museologia e as atividades de ensino, pesquisa e extensão universitária, considerando a intervenção educativa integral da Sociomuseologia e o processo de planejamento museológico, enquanto prática educativa e afetiva. Num primeiro momento, o estudo aborda a diversidade de museus e coleções universitárias no Brasil, examinando modelos de governança em rede em universidades federais, além de desafios e oportunidades identificados no campo social e político do VI e VII Fórum Permanente de Museus Universitários (FPMU) e da Rede Brasileira de Coleções e Museus Universitários (RBCMU). Num segundo momento, o foco recai sobre o microcosmo da UFU, analisando sua estrutura organizacional e suas políticas institucionais, com especial atenção para o papel do SIMU. A partir dos processos de planejamento museológico, a pesquisa reflete sobre a função social dos museus com os quais colaboramos, e propõe ações estratégicas para aprimorar a gestão da dimensão museal da UFU, visando a fortalecer os vínculos entre os museus, a academia e a sociedade.
This research, from the perspective of Sociomuseology and based on experiences in museum planning, aims to understand the relationship between the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) and its ‘museal dimension’, focusing on four museums within its Museum System (SIMU): the Cerrado Biodiversity Museum (MBC), the Museum of Minerals and Rocks (MUMRO), the DICA Museum – Fun with Science and Art (DICA), and the University Museum of Art (MUnA). The research explores the reciprocities between museum pedagogy and the university activities of teaching, research and extension, considering the integral educational intervention of Sociomuseology, and the process of museum planning as an educational and affective practice. In the first moment, the study addresses the diversity of university museums and collections in Brazil, examining network governance models within federal universities, as well as challenges and opportunities identified in the social and political fields of the VI and VII Permanent Forum of University Museums (FPMU) and of the Brazilian Network of University Collections and Museums (RBCMU). In the second moment, the focus shifts to the microcosm of UFU, analyzing its organizational structure and institutional policies, with special attention to the role of SIMU. Based on the museum planning processes, the research reflects on the social function of the museums with which we collaborated and proposes strategic actions to improve the management of the museal dimension of UFU, aiming to strengthen the ties between the museums, academia, and society.
