dc.description.abstractEste relatório tem como objetivo explorar o processo de criação da animação documental My Superpower. O filme de animação fundamenta-se em entrevistas com três mulheres de diferentes contextos culturais, com foco em estereótipos de género na sociedade contemporânea. Examina-se o processo criativo desde o início, incluindo a explicação dos critérios para escolha do tema e a definição da faixa etária e do perfil sociocultural das entrevistadas, seguida pela elaboração de perguntas pertinentes às entrevistas e pelo desenvolvimento da animação imagem por imagem. Além disso, são discutidas diversas pesquisas sobre a representação feminina na animação e sobre a animação documental em geral, com base em estudos de Gabriela Sá (2023), Skoller J. (2011) e outros, bem como as principais fontes de inspiração — desde Persepolis (2007) até What is a Woman? (2022) e Woman (2009) — , as metodologias e ferramentas empregadas ao longo do projeto, a forma como as mulheres vêm sendo retratadas na animação ao longo da história e as mudanças que vêm ocorrendo nesse cenário.pt
dc.description.abstractThis report aims to explore the process of creating a documentary animation My Superpower. The animation film is based on interviews with three women from different cultural backgrounds, focusing on gender stereotypes in contemporary society. It explores the creative process from the beginning, such as explaining the theme selection and determining the interviewees’ age range and sociocultural background, followed by the development of pertinent questions for the interview and the process of frame-by-frame animation. Additionally, it addresses various researches on female representation in animation and documentary animation in general by Gabriela Sá (2023), Skoller J. (2011), and others, sources of inspiration from Persepolis (2007) to What is a Woman? (2022) & Woman (2009), methodologies and tools utilized throughout the project, how women have been portrayed in animation in the past, and how it has been evolving.en
