Resumo
A presente dissertação tem por objetivo o estudo do desenvolvimento e funcionamento dos quartos dos Hotéis, tendo como suporte o trabalho desenvolvido na cadeira de Projeto do 5º ano, sobre a criação de um hotel na Avenida da Boa Vista, cidade do Porto. Para isto, a dis-sertação será dividida em sete capítulos, trabalhando em cada um deles num conjunto de as-petos que melhor ajudem a explicar o tema.
No primeiro capítulo será realizada a Introdução explicando a escolha do tema, os objetivos e as abordagens adotadas ao logo do desenvolvimento do trabalho.
De seguida é realizada uma Reflexão Teórica trabalhando no conceito do tema abordado, enquadrando os diferentes tipos de quartos, apresentando referências arquitetónicas que aju-dem a fazer ligação com o projeto desenvolvido.
Posteriormente é realizado uma Análise das Referências, baseando no estudo dos quartos do Sanatório de Paimio de Alvar Aalto, do Youth Hotel de Yoshinobu Ashihara, do SAS Hotel de Arne Jacobsen e o Hotel Intercontinental, Frankfurt de Otto Apel e Hannsgeorg Arquitetos, e Gilbert Becker engenheiro, o que facilitará a Análise Comparativa com o projeto no ponto se-guinte.
Numa quinta fase é realizada uma Análise do Local e da sua evolução, recorrendo a dese-nhos e mapas existentes, seguida pela Memoria Descritiva que consiste na análise aprofundada do projeto. Por fim é feita as Considerações Finais, onde será resumido o que foi tratado ao longo do trabalho, e que conclusões pode-se tirar do mesmo.
This dissertation aims to study the development and operation of the hotel rooms, supported by the work developed in the 5th grade Project chair, about the creation of a hotel in Avenida da Boa Vista, Porto city. For this, the dissertation will be divided into seven chapters, working in each of them in a set of aspects that best help to explain the theme. In the first chapter will be introduced the Introduction explaining the choice of the theme, the objectives and the approaches adopted along the development of the work. Then, a Theoretical Reflection is performed working on the concept of the theme, framing the different types of rooms, presenting architectural references that help to make connection with the developed project. Subsequently, an analysis of the references is made, based on the study of the rooms of Alvar Aalto's Paimio Sanatorium, Yoshinobu Ashihara's Youth Hotel, Arne Jacobsen's SAS Hotel and the Intercontinental Hotel, Frankfurt by Otto Apel and Hannsgeorg Architects. , and engineer Gilbert Becker, which will facilitate Comparative Analysis with the project in the next section. In a fifth phase, an Analysis of the Site and its evolution is carried out, using existing designs and maps, followed by the Descriptive Memory, which consists of the in-depth analysis of the project. Finally, the Final Considerations are made, which will summarize what was discussed throughout the work, and what conclusions can be drawn from it.
