O presente artigo visa explorar, antes de mais, aprodução escrita de Maria Micaela de São Bernardo, freira setecentista do Mosteiro de São Dinis e de São Bernardo de Odivelas. Analogamente ao que sucederacom diversa documentação produzida por penas femininasem contexto monástico, também a obra de Maria Micaela permaneceuatéentão votada ao silêncio dos arquivos, conservando-seinédita e, assim, pouco estudada e sistematizada. Dando a ver olegado espiritual e intelectualdesta autora mística cisterciense, demonstrar-se-áainfluência de Bernardo de Claravalna mesma.
The aim of this article is to explore, first and foremost, the written output of Maria Micaela de São Bernardo, an 18th century nun from the Monastery of São Dinis and São Bernardo de Odivelas. Similarly to what happened with various documents produced by female nuns in a monastic context, Maria Micaela's work had until then remained silent in the archives, unpublished and therefore little studied and systematized. By revealing the spiritual and intellectual legacy of this Cistercian mystic author, the influence of Bernard of Clairvaux on her will be demonstrated.
