O efeito do fundo financiamento estudantil na educação superior: uma pesquisa de campo no interior do Ceará

O Fundo de Financiamento Estudantil (FIES) é um programa do Ministério da
Educação (MEC) destinado à concessão de financiamento a estudantes regularmente
matriculados em cursos superiores presenciais não gratuitos e com avaliação positiva
nos processos conduzidos pelo MEC. analisar o efeito do Fundo de Financiamento
Estudantil no Ensino Superior em uma Faculdade Privada de um município localizado
na zona norte do Ceara. Este é um estudo de natureza descritiva com abordagem
quantitativa. Para aplicação desta pesquisa, o estudo de caso foi a opção que melhor se
encaixou por facilitar o entendimento sobre os índices de engajamento. Foi elaborado
um questionário com 15 perguntas de múltipla escolha. O cenário da pesquisa foi uma
faculdade privada situada no município de Sobral – CE, no período de agosto a
dezembro de 2015. Os alunos pesquisados descreveram bem os proveitos do uso do
FIES, pois a vantagem de pagar o curso depois de formado traz mais tranquilidade para
estudar, sem se preocupar com as mensalidades, e também a possibilidade, para jovens
que não têm condições financeiras de pagar agora, de cursar o nível superior. A
pesquisa conseguiu alcançar a problemática, a hipótese e o objetivo, pois foi adquirido
muito conhecimento através dos questionários, constatou-se que o uso do FIES
realmente traz um aumento significativo de alunos matriculados na faculdade.
The student funding fund (FIES) is a program from the Ministry of Education that gives financial loans to students enrolled in private higher education institutions and have positive results from MEC processes of evaluation. To analyze the student funding fund effect on a private higher education institution from a county located in the north of Ceará. This is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. For this research, the case study was the best option for easily fitting the understanding of rates of engagement. A quiz with 15 questions of multiple choices was elaborated. The research scenario was a private college located in Sobral, Ceará – from August to December of 2015. The students from the research described the good use of FIES, and how they feel much more comfortable to study not having to pay for college until they graduate, and also, the possibility that it gives students to enroll in a higher education even with no current financial condition. The research was able to reach the problem, the hypothesis and the goal, since much was learned from the questionnaires. It was found the FIES brings significant increase in students enrollments in college.
