Resumo
Avaliação isocinética da força muscular dos ísquio-perónio-tibiais e quadricípite nas velocidades de 60°/s e 180°/s, comparando o rácio concêntrico entre os ísquio-perónio-tibiais e quadricípite (I:Q) através de dinamometria isocinética em praticantes de aulas de cycling em ginásio.
Método: Numa primeira fase, foi elaborada uma revisão sistemática de literatura (RSL) com base em estudos do tipo caso-controlo e, numa segunda fase, foi realizado um estudo caso-controlo em que os participantes realizaram os movimentos de flexão e extensão do joelho num dinamómetro isocinético nas velocidades de 60°/s e 180°/s.
Resultados: Na RSL foram selecionados 15 artigos. Os rácios concêntricos variaram entre os 50% e 80% em que os valores de rácios mais elevados foram obtidos em velocidades angulares mais altas. Os resultados do estudo caso-controlo demonstraram que não houve diferenças significativas no rácio I:Q entre os grupos.
Conclusão: Os resultados dos estudos analisados na RSL indicam que a modalidade desportiva e a velocidade de execução influenciam o perfil isocinético de força. O estudo caso-controlo revelou que o rácio I:Q na velocidade 60°/s encontra-se dentro dos valores que a literatura indica ser os normativos para o equilíbrio muscular e prevenção de lesões, enquanto na velocidade de 180°/s está abaixo dos valores normativos.
Objective: Isokinetic evaluation of the hamstrings and quadriceps muscle strength at velocities of 60°/s and 180°/s, comparing the concentric ratio between hamstrings and quadriceps (H:Q) by isokinetic dynamometry of cycling classes in the gym. Method: In a first phase, a systematic literature review (SRL) was developed based on case-control studies and, in a second phase, a case-control study was performed in which the participants performed knee flexion and extension movements on an isokinetic dynamometer at speeds of 60°/s and 180°/s. Results: In the RSL 15 articles were selected. The concentric ratios ranged from 50% to 80% where higher ratios were obtained at higher angular velocities. The results of the case-control study demonstrated that there were no significant differences in the H:Q ratio between the groups. Conclusion: The results of the studies analyzed in the SRL indicate that the sport modality and the speed of execution influence the isokinetic profile of force. The case-control study showed that the H:Q ratio at 60°/s speed is within the values indicated by the literature to be the norm for muscle balance and injury prevention, while at the rate of 180°/s it is below the norm.
