Satisfação profissional e a qualidade da prática letiva do professor de educação física

Resumo
O objetivo desta investigação foi analisar os fatores da Satisfação Profissional que podem ter
influência na qualidade da prática letiva de professores de Educação Física dos três Sistemas
de Ensino Médio ofertados pela rede pública estadual na Região metropolitana de São Luís do
Maranhão. A fundamentação teórica do estudo priorizou as referências relacionadas às
questões da satisfação profissional e da ação docente em Educação Física e seus fatores
intervenientes. Esta pesquisa tem caraterísticas exploratória, descritiva e documental, com
abordagem qualitativa que se utilizou de dados de instrumentos quantitativos para
complementar a qualificação dos sujeitos e dos fatos. Os dados foram coletados por meio de
questionários validados e realizado um pré-teste na versão preliminar, aplicados a 137
professores, para identificar o perfil sociodemográfico e profissional e outro para avaliar o
nível da satisfação docente. Recorreu-se a observação das aulas práticas a 12 docentes, para
analisar a prática letiva e as entrevistas semiestruturadas para aprofundamento do fenômeno
pesquisado. Para análise dos dados quantitativos, aplicou-estatística descritiva e a análise
fatorial através de softwares estatístico IBM SPSS Statistics 22 (2013) e para entrevistas e
observação das aulas utilizou-se a análise descritiva de conteúdo, baseado em Bardin(2011).
Os resultados apontaram que os fatores da satisfação profissional com influência na prática
letiva são os domínios que caracterizam a Relação Profissional, Autonomia, Natureza do
Trabalho, Recompensa. Já o Domínio Condições de Trabalho, apesar de importante para a
prática pedagógica, não foi fator determinante na satisfação. Ao final, apresentou-se as
recomendações a partir dos indicadores visando propor iniciativas voltadas a políticas
públicas de formação profissional e promoção a saúde docente, entendida como política
fundamental a um processo educativo de qualidade e propor novas discussões, ampliando o
conhecimento produzidos sobre docência em EF no ensino Básico. Palavras-chave: Satisfação Profissional; Qualidade da Prática Letiva; Professor de Educação

The theoretical basis of the study prioritized references related to issues of professional satisfaction and teaching action in Physical Education and its intervening factors. This research has exploratory, descriptive and documentary characteristics, with a qualitative approach that used data from quantitative instruments to complement the qualification of subjects and facts. Data were collected through validated questionnaires and a pre-test was carried out in the preliminary version, applied to 137 teachers, to identify the socio-demographic and professional profile and another to assess the level of teacher satisfaction. Observation of practical classes with 12 professors was used to analyze teaching practice and semi-structured interviews to deepen the researched phenomenon. For the analysis of quantitative data, descriptive statistics and factor analysis were applied through statistical software IBM SPSS Statistics 22 (2013) and for interviews and observation of classes, descriptive content analysis was used, based on Bardin (2011). The results showed that the professional satisfaction factors that influence the teaching practice are the domains that characterize the Professional Relationship, Autonomy, Nature of Work, Reward. The Working Conditions Domain, although important for pedagogical practice, was not a determining factor in satisfaction. At the end, recommendations were presented based on the indicators in order to propose initiatives aimed at public policies for professional training and the promotion of teacher health, understood as a fundamental policy for a quality educational process and to propose new discussions, expanding the knowledge produced about teaching in PE in Basic Education.
