A atenção consiste num domínio cognitivo fundamental para a funcionalidade e adaptação do sujeito. Estudos na área da Neuropsicologia referem que este construto se encontra frequentemente afetado pelas perturbações neurológicas e psiquiátricas congénitas e adquiridas e ressaltam a importância da avaliação e intervenção neuropsicológica adequada, registando-se um investimento crescente nas soluções tecnológicas, que têm vindo a comprovar cada vez mais a sua utilidade para cumprir este propósito. Este estudo exploratório teve como principal objetivo a elaboração de uma prova informatizada para avaliação da Atenção Seletiva, com o nome bq, baseada no Teste de Atenção Seletiva d2, já validado para o efeito e análise das suas propriedades psicométricas. A amostra é constituída por participantes saudáveis de ambos os sexos e com idades compreendidas entre os 20 e os 48 anos. Os participantes realizaram o teste MoCA, bq e d2 e responderam a um Questionário de Usabilidade para classificar a sua experiência. Os resultados principais desta investigação apontam para a existência de consistência interna em 6 dos 9 parâmetros da prova e valores de consistência interna satisfatórios. Neste sentido, o teste bq mostra-se eficaz para avaliar a maioria dos parâmetros, sendo necessário, futuramente, analisar com mais detalhe e com uma amostra mais heterogénea outras propriedades psicométricas como a validade convergente, divergente e a estabilidade temporal.
Attention consists in a fundamental cognitive domain for the functionality and adaptation of the subject. Studies in the area of Neuropsychology indicate that this domain is often affected by the neurological and psychiatric congenital and acquired disorders and emphasize the importance of adequate assessment and cognitive rehabilitation, demonstrating a growing investment in technological solutions that have increasingly proved their usefulness to fulfill this purpose. This exploratory study had as main objective the elaboration of a computerized test to evaluate the Selective Attention, with the name bq, based on the d2 Selective Attention Test, already validated for the purpose and analysis of its psychometric properties. The sample is composed of healthy participants of both genders and between the ages of 20 and 48 years. Participants performed the MoCA, bq and d2 tests and answered to an Usability Questionnaire to rate their experience. The main results of this investigation point to the existence of internal consistency in 6 of the 9 parameters of the test and satisfactory internal consistency values. In this sense, the bq test is shown to be effective for evaluating most of the parameters, however it's necessary, in the future, to analyze in more detail and with a more heterogeneous sample other psychometric properties such as convergent and divergent validity and temporal stability.
