Resumo
Este artigo descreve o âmbito e os critérios de apresentação dos conteúdos dos documentos respeitantes ao Brasil existentes no fundo da Nunciatura Portuguesa, no Arquivo Secreto Vaticano. Salienta-se a diversidade de temáticas abordadas neste conjunto documental e apontam-se as principais linhas de estudo que pode suscitar, sugerindo-se também a consulta de outras fontes coevas que com ele se articulam.
This article describes the scope and criteria for the presentation of the contents from the documents about Brazil that are at the Vatican Secret Archives in Nunciatura Portuguesa. It’s emphasized the diversity of issues of those documents and pointed out the main lines ofresearch which can be followed, suggesting also other sources coeval with which it is articulated.
