Resumo

Numa mesa-redonda realizada no Seminário Teológico Baptista, intervenientes num painel, professores e alunos procuraram debater e reflectir sobre a actualidade ou não do tema da interconfessionalidade. Depois de definidos os termos (noções de ecumenismo, interconfessionalidade e diálogo inter-religioso) foi feita uma análise do “estado da arte” no que concerne aos diferentes diálogos que se movem no campo religioso mundial. A Bíblia, através das suas traduções e da sua divulgação, pode desempenhar um papel fulcral no diálogo entre confissões cristãs.
In a round-table held in the Baptist Theological Seminary, teachers and students taking part tried to debate and reflect about the actuality or not of the theme of interconfessionality. After defining the terms (notions of ecumenism, interconfessionality and inter-religious dialogue) an analyse was made of the “state of the art” of the different dialogues that exist in the religious area in the world. The Bible, by means of its translations and by its divulgation, can play an important part in the dialogue between Christian confessions.
