Resumo
Os cenários educacionais foram modificados pelas Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicações (TIC), importantes para a construção do cidadão planetário e para elevar a
qualidade que se almeja na educação brasileira, no contexto da Sociedade de Informação que
vivemos. Esta dissertação analisou o uso das TIC pelos professores de Língua Portuguesa na
realidade de quatro escolas públicas do ensino médio, na rede estadual de ensino, do interior
de Pernambuco – Brasil. Para obtenção dos objetivos pretendidos neste estudo foi elaborado
um questionário, como instrumento principal no processo de recolha de dados, e que foi
direcionado aos professores de Língua Portuguesa. Neste estudo discutiu as TIC no fazer
pedagógicos dos professores de Língua Portuguesa e verificou que as ferramentas fazem parte
de suas aulas. Aos poucos estão sendo integradas em suas práticas. São reconhecidas como
possibilidades de novas práticas educativas de ensino. Porém, ainda estão presos ao pragmatismo tradicional do velho ensino.

To obtainment the objectives sought in this study a questionnaire was developed as the main instrument in the data collection process, and it was addressed to teachers of Portuguese. In this study discussed TIC in teaching to teachers of Portuguese Language and verified that the tools are part of their classes. Are slowly being integrated into their practices. Are recognized as educational possibilities of new teaching practices. However, are still stuck to the traditional pragmatism of the old school.
