dc.description.abstractEsta dissertação resulta da pesquisa e do estudo daquelas que foram as premissas para a criação da Colónia Agrícola de Pegões. Realidade tão pouco conhecida e que fez parte de um período tão controverso e importante da história de Portugal. O regresso às áreas rurais, com a ideia de aumento de qualidade de vida, é nos dias de hoje uma situação cada vez mais recorrente. Quase um século após a criação da Colónia Agrícola de Pegões, a terra está a voltar a ser o meio de sustentabilidade dos agregados familiares. Para além de ser efectuado um estudo aprofundado de todos os elementos que fazem parte desta realidade, o grande foco desta dissertação é apresentar uma proposta de intervenção num casal agrícola, mantendo as premissas de habitação e dar nova dignidade à forma de viver este espaço e adaptá-lo aos dias de hoje. Afastando-se daquelas que são as premissas de reabilitação, a proposta de intervenção tem como objectivo assentar-se naquela que é a memória da Colónia. Elevar o objecto de estudo a algo novo, mas sem perder os fundamentos da sua origem.pt
dc.description.abstractThis dissertation results from the research and the study of those that were the premises for the creation of the Agricultural Colony of Pegões. A reality so little known and that was part of a period so controversial and important in the history of Portugal. The returning to rural areas, with the idea of better quality of living, it is nowadays a recurring situation. Almost a century after the creation of the Agricultural Colony of Pegões, land is once again becoming the means for the sustainability of the households. Besides a comprehensive study pursued through all the components that make part of this reality, the main focus of this dissertation is to present a proposal of intervention in an green acres, maintaining the premises of housing and offer a new dignity to the way of living within this space and its adaptation to the present days. Moving away from those that are the rehabilitation premises, the proposal of intervention has an objective based on the memory of the Colony. To elevate the object of study to something new, but without losing the fundaments of its origin.en
