Resumo
A dissertação tem por temática o estudo das metodologias de reabilitação dos
edifícios antigos em Lisboa. A área de estudo centra-se num edifício localizado na Rua
Prior do Crato, 80-92, em Lisboa.
Este trabalho foi motivado pelo desejo de investigar sobre as metodologias atuais
de preservação do património urbano das cidades, de modo a poder conceber projetos
de arquitetura que estabeleçam um equilíbrio entre a salvaguarda do património e a
resposta há necessidades da vida contemporânea.
O estudo centra-se na ideia de uma continuada reutilização de edifícios antigos, de
forma a renovar permanentemente a cidade e ao mesmo tempo manter a sua história.
O objetivo da dissertação foi assim, aprender e debater sobre o exercício da
intervenção arquitetónica em antigos edifícios habitacionais através da abordagem de
casos práticos, confrontando a teoria com a prática, quer nos aspetos das
metodologias de intervenção, quer no que respeita à questão das técnicas e materiais.
Um dos objetivos foi mostrar uma metodologia de análise prévia do edifício
(incluindo os elementos e esquemas estruturais, a avaliação do estado de
conservação e de segurança) e sugerir as principais medidas de consolidação e
reforço para o edifício localizado na Rua Prior do Crato, nº80, Lisboa. O projeto de
arquitetura foi desenvolvido tendo por base a avaliação da situação atual do imóvel.
The theme of this dissertation is the study of the methodologies for the rehabilitation of old buildings in Lisbon. The study area focuses on a building located at Rua Prior do Crato, 80-92, in Lisbon. This work was motivated by the desire to investigate the current methodologies for preserving the urban heritage of cities, in order to be able to design architectural projects that establish a balance between safeguarding the heritage and the response to contemporary life needs. The study focuses on the idea of a continued reuse of old buildings, in order to permanently renovate the city and at the same time maintain its history. The objective of the dissertation was thus to learn and debate about the exercise of architectural intervention in old housing buildings through the approach of practical cases, confronting theory with practice, both in terms of intervention methodologies and in terms of techniques and materials. One of the objectives was to show a methodology of previous analysis of the building (including the structural elements and schemes, the assessment of the state of conservation and security) and to suggest the main consolidation and reinforcement measures for the studied building. The architectural project was developed based on the assessment of the current situation of the building.
