| dc.description.abstract | A gestão nas organizações do terceiro sector assume especial relevo no atual contexto socioeconómico. Em especial, devido à procura crescente de respostas sociais nas diferentes instituições existentes, sejam estas de cariz governamental ou particular. Daí que o estudo das práticas de gestão se aponte como extremamente pertinente, como forma de aferir a eficiência destas organizações, bem como de medir a sua performance no normal desenrolar das suas atividades. No terceiro sector, existe uma diversidade de organizações considerável a operar. O foco do estudo será nas associações mutualistas portuguesas, que estão normalmente associadas às atividades financeiras, de saúde e bem-estar e de ação social. Procurar-se-á identificar os aspetos que afetam as práticas de gestão nas mesmas, para que seja possível reconhecer os fatores que contribuem para que estas se diferenciem e se tornem mais eficientes e sustentáveis. | pt |
| dc.description.abstract | In the management of third sector organizations becomes even more important in the current socio-economic context. In particular, due to the increasing demand for social responses in the different existing institutions, whether governmental or private nature. Hence the study of management practices point as extremely relevant, as a way to measure the efficiency of these organizations as well as to measure its performance in the normal course of its activities. In the third sector, there is a considerable diversity of organizations operating. The study will focus on Portuguese mutual associations, which are usually associated with financial activities, health and well-being and social action.
