A Justiça constitucional é a expressão máxima da garantia da Constituição e das demais leis e normas. É, por isso, imperativa a sua existência para o equilíbrio entre os demais poderes públicos, para a própria garantia e proteção do Estado de direito e democrático e, também, como garante dos direitos, liberdades e garantias dos particulares.
Constitutional justice is the maximum expression of the guarantee of the Constitution and other laws and norms. Its role in the balance between other public powers and its guarantee and protection of the rule of law and democracy, as well as guaranteeing the rights, freedoms and guarantees of individuals, is imperative.
