dc.description.abstractA presente dissertação analisa e reflete sobre a temática da Violência Doméstica, onde se pretende entender o percurso de vida das mulheres vítimas de violência doméstica e compreender a perceção das mulheres sobre a Violência Doméstica e suas consequências, antes e durante a gravidez e no pós-parto. Este é um estudo exploratório, tratando-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, utilizando a metodologia do estudo de caso. Para a recolha da informação utilizou-se a Entrevista Biográfica e a Entrevista Semiestruturada. A partir da entrevista biográfica construímos a história de vida das mulheres e posteriormente o biograma de cada uma delas. Numa segunda fase, a entrevista e a sua posterior análise de conteúdo permitiram concretizar os restantes objetivos. Foram criadas cinco dimensões que pretendiam responder aos objetivos. As participantes são mulheres vítimas de violência nas relações de intimidade com filhos. Os principais resultados: no percurso de vida das vítimas de violência doméstica constatou-se que com a violência doméstica as mulheres experienciaram acontecimentos negativos sucessivos e sentimentos negativos associados aos mesmo, após o fim da relação foi possível verificar que as mesmas identificavam acontecimentos e sentimentos positivos na sua vida; durante a gravidez foi possível verificar o aumento das situações de violência; durante a gravidez e depois de serem mães a perceção sobre a violência doméstica foi alterada, verificando que o principal fator para esta mudança foi a maternidade devido à preocupação constante em proteger os filhos para que estes futuramente não tenham sequelas da violência; referente às consequências da violência doméstica, foram a perda da autoestima, confiança, autonomia, dificuldades em fazerem novos amigos, dependência económica e financeira; as crianças ficam com problemas psicológicos, mau comportamento, carentes, inseguras, desconfiadas, maus resultados escolares e a perda da relação entre pais/filhos.pt
dc.description.abstractThis dissertation analyzes and reflects on the theme of Domestic Violence, where it is intended to understand the life path of women victims of domestic violence and to understand the perception of women about Domestic Violence and its consequences, before and during pregnancy and in the postpartum. This is an exploratory study, being a qualitative research, using the case study methodology. For the collection of information, the Biographical Interview and the Semi-structured Interview were used. From the biographical interview, we built the life history of the women and later the biogram of each one of them. In a second phase, the interview and its subsequent content analysis made it possible to achieve the remaining objectives. Five dimensions were created that intended to respond to the objectives. The participants are women victims of violence in intimate relationships with children. The main results: in the life course of victims of domestic violence it was found that with domestic violence women experienced successive negative events and negative feelings associated with them, after the end of the relationship it was possible to verify that they identified positive events and feelings in your life; during pregnancy it was possible to observe an increase in situations of violence; during pregnancy and after becoming mothers, the perception of domestic violence changed, verifying that the main factor for this change was motherhood due to the constant concern to protect the children so that they do not have sequelae of violence in the future; referring to the consequences of domestic violence, were the loss of self-esteem, confidence, autonomy, difficulties in making new friends, economic and financial dependence; children are left with psychological problems, bad behavior, needy, insecure, distrustful, poor school results and the loss of the parent/child relationship.en
