Acervos históricos e artísticos : Convento de São Francisco em Olinda

Abstract

Este artigo, escrito a várias mãos, trata sobre pesquisa e levantamento de acervos artísticos e históricos existentes no Convento Franciscano de Nossa Senhora das Neves, localizado na cidade de Olinda – Pernambuco, Brasil. A pesquisa e o levantamento neste Convento se detiveram a quatro acervos, a saber: imagens devocionais, pintura, azulejaria e biblioteca.This article, written by several people, describes the search for and assessment of artistic and historical records preserved in the Franciscan Convent of Our Lady of the Snow (Nossa Senhora das Neves) in the city of Olinda – Pernambuco, Brazil. The search and assessment in this Convent was restricted to four sets of records, namely devotional images, paintings, tiles and the library.
