Resumo
A pesquisa se dedica a examinar a documentação produzida em museus, a partir dos
conceitos de poder, saber e discurso presentes na trajetória intelectual do filósofo Michel Foucault.
Visando depreender as práticas discursivas do campo, analisa os sujeitos e a criação de
procedimentos documentais em coleções e museus, em determinados momentos históricos,
além dos documentos referenciais produzidos pelos organismos internacionais de proteção aos
museus e ao patrimônio. De forma especial, mapeia e explora toda a produção dos Cadernos de
Sociomuseologia, na busca por discussões teóricas e práticas sobre a documentação. Tendo
como estudo de caso o Museu de Arqueologia de Itaipu, propõe, testa e avalia um modelo de
documentação para iniciativas de memória e museus compromissados com os princípios teóricos
e práticos da Museologia Social. O modelo proposto deverá ser capaz de potencializar os
saberes e as memórias individuais e coletivas, relacionadas ao território em que a instituição
museal está inserida. Além disso, deverá prever o desenvolvimento de instrumentos de recuperação
da informação, indicadores quantitativos e qualitativos para avaliação ou construção da
Política de Aquisição, Política de Documentação e o seu Plano Museológico.
The research is dedicated to examining the documentation produced in museums, applying the concepts of power, knowledge and discourse present in the intellectual trajectory of the French philosopher Michel Foucault. Aiming to understand the discursive practices of the field, it analyzes the subjects and the creation of documentary procedures in collections and museums, at certain historical moments, in addition to the reference documents produced by the international organizations for the protection of the world and heritage. In a special way, it maps and explores the entire production of the scientific journal Cadernos de Sociomuseologia searching for theoretical and practical discussions about documentation. Taking as a case study the Itaipu Archaeological Museum, proposes, tests and evaluates a documentation model for museums committed to the theoretical and practical principles of Social Museology. The proposed model should be able to enhance the knowledge and individual and collective memories related to the territory in which the museum institution is inserted. In addition, it should provide for the development of information retrieval instruments, quantitative and qualitative indicators for the evaluation or construction of the Collections Development Policy, Documentation Policy and for the Museological Plan.
