Perceções sociais sobre violência sexual contra homens : um estudo com mulheres universitárias

A violência sexual é um tema que tem sido alvo de muita investigação ao longo dos anos, porém tem vindo a negligenciar o homem no papel de vítima, sendo escassos os estudos que investigam a violência sexual neste panorama. Porém, a literatura indica-nos de que é de facto uma realidade bastante complexa e que tem bastante impacto nas suas vítimas. No entanto, é difícil ter uma noção sobre a conceptualização que a população tem sobre este tipo de violência nos homens, como tal este estudo tem precisamente o objetivo de perceber a perceção de uma amostra de estudantes universitárias sobre a violência sexual perpetrada por mulheres contra homens.
Para este efeito procedeu-se à análise temática de onze entrevistas realizadas a estudantes do sexo feminino, após a leitura de uma vinheta onde estava refletida a história de uma situação de violência sexual. Esta análise foi realizada com recurso ao software Nvivo12, onde foi possível construir um mapa de conceitos, com os temas, subtemas e códigos que refletiam as respostas fornecidas pelas participantes.
Os resultados centram-se à volta da caracterização dos intervenientes, das estratégias utilizadas pelas agressoras, das justificações/motivações para a utilização dessas mesmas estratégias e, para o impacto e consequências que advém das mesmas. As principais conclusões apontam para a presença de discursos sociais baseados em estereótipos e para a necessidade futura de desconstrução dos mesmos.
Sexual violence is a subject that has been investigated over the years, but it has been neglecting man in the role of victim, with few studies investigating sexual violence in this perspective. However, the literature tells us that it is in fact a very complex reality and that it has a lot of impact on its victims. However, it is difficult to have an idea about the conceptualization that people have about this type of violence in men, as such this study has precisely the goal of understanding what the perception that a sample of university students has about sexual violence, perpetrated by women against men. For this purpose, thematic analysis was used to interpret eleven interviews of female students, after they read a vignette reflecting a situation of sexual violence. This analysis was performed using the Nvivo12 software, where it was possible to build a concept map, with the themes, subthemes and codes that reflected the responses provided by the participants. The results focus around the characterization of the subjetcs, the strategies used by the aggressors, the justifications/motivations for the use of these strategies, and the impact and consequences that result from them. The main conclusions point to the presence of social discourses based on stereotypes and the future need to deconstruct them.
