O homem, notrabalho,sofre influência de fatores impactantesno seu processo saúde-doença, ocasionandoinsatisfação quanto às atividades desempenhadas em seu posto laboral, contribuindo para o adoecimento. ALER/DORT (Lesões por Esforços Repetitivos/Distúrbios Osteomusculares Relacionados ao Trabalho) tem grande importância dentre os adoecimentos ocupacionais, acometendo indivíduos, em plena fase produtiva, sendo a mais frequente causa de afastamento do trabalho no mundo. A educação surge, portanto, para intervir crítica e conscientemente no mundo, conscientizando o trabalhador de seu papel social como agente de transformações. Este estudo teve por objetivo verificarse aeducação profissionalpode contribuir paraa prevenção deLER/DORT em trabalhadores de uma Indústria na Cidade de Campina Grande-PB. Foi aplicado um questionário com perguntas abertas e fechadas, mediante pesquisa quantitativa, buscando caracterizar o perfil dos trabalhadorescom LER/DORT, a partir doconhecimento que estestêm acerca do tema,e ainda relacionando seusgrausde instruçãocom a ocorrência destefenômeno,identificando práticas educativas aplicadas para a prevenção do adoecimento.Os resultados mostraram que a empresa oferece treinamentos ou palestrasobjetivandoprevenir o surgimento de LER/DORT segundo 53% dos participantes. Dentre estes, verificou-se que 85%acham satisfatóriasas orientações educativas de prevenção de LER/DORT.15% deste grupo relataram o contrário.
The man, at work, is influenced by factors impacting on his health-disease process, causing dissatisfaction with the activities performed at his job post, contributing to illness. The LER / DORT (Repetitive Strain Injuries / Musculoskeletal Disorders Related to Work) is of great importance among occupational illnesses, affecting individuals, in the full productive phase, being the most frequent cause of withdrawal from work in the world. Education, therefore, arises to intervene critically and consciously in the world, making the worker aware of his social role as an agent of transformation. This study aimed to verify if the professional education can contribute to the prevention of RSI / DORT in workers of an Industry in the City of Campina Grande-PB. A questionnairewithopen and closed questionswas applied through quantitative research, aiming at characterizing the profile of the workers with RSI / DWL, based on their knowledge about the subject, and also relating their education levels to the occurrence of this phenomenon, identifying educational practices applied to prevention of illness. The results showed that the company offers trainings or lectures aiming to prevent the emergence of RSI-DORT according to 53% of the participants. Among these, it was verified that 85% found the educational guidelines for the prevention of RSI-DDS to be satisfactory. 15% of this group reported the opposite.
