This report was developed within the scope of a curricular internship to obtain the Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine. The internship took place between October 1, 2021, and April 10, 2022, at Unicol – Cooperativa Agrícola, C.R.L., in Terceira Island, Azores. During this period, 725 cases were assisted, from which 37 refer to bovine foot disease, four of them further detailed and analyzed within this dissertation. Bovine foot disease is the third leading cause of economic losses for farms, being surpassed only by mastitis and fertility problems. Affected animals are usually exposed to high-risk factors such as high humidity percentage, poor hygiene conditions in the facilities, poor soil conditions, and the long distances they have to walk on these degraded or abrasive floors for their hooves. The observed clinical signs shown by the analyzed animals in the four clinical cases coincided with those described in the literature, including lameness, mobility difficulties, poor body condition and decreased milk production. The diagnosis of the diseases was always carried out by observation and exploration of the lesions with hoof knives and an angle grinder. To obtain the expected results, in each of the cases, therapeutics were adjusted ensuring producers’ satisfaction, the profitability of farms, and animal welfare
