Resumo
Esta dissertação centra-se no papel que os pais desempenham na educação religiosa dos filhos, no âmbito familiar, enquanto seus principais educadores e responsáveis, sobretudo em matéria de valores. A comunidade religiosa, no caso de famílias de fiéis, pode assumir uma relevante função complementar nesse processo educativo. A formação de valores e atitudes positivas contribui para a construção de famílias fortes e duma sociedade justa. No processo educacional, mais do que a palavra conta o exemplo a assimilar pelas crianças. Assim, o comportamento dos pais em relação à fé e à crença que abraçam será tido em conta na aprendizagem dos filhos, independentemente da religião professada. O presente estudo é dissertativo, descritivo e teve um enfoque misto (qualitativo e quantitativo), com ênfase na exegese e hermenêutica de textos bíblicos. A pesquisa incluiu um questionário elaborado por nós, aplicado a pais e filhos, com vista à recolha de dados a fim de satisfazer os objectivos propostos.
This dissertation focuses on the role that parents play in the religious education of their children, within the family, as their main educators and guardians, especially in terms of values. The religious community, in the case of families of believers, can play an important complementary role in this educational process. The formation of positive values and attitudes contributes to building strong families and a just society. In the educational process, more than the word counts the example is to be assimilated by the children. Thus, the parents' behavior in relation to the faith and belief they embrace will be taken into account in their children's learning, regardless of their professed religion. The present study is dissertational, and descriptive and had a mixed focus (qualitative and quantitative), with emphasis on the exegesis and hermeneutics of biblical texts. The survey included a questionnaire prepared by us, applied to parents and children, with a view to collecting data in order to meet the proposed objectives.
