Resumo
As patologias são anomalias que surgem numa construção ao longo da vida,
sendo essencial que seja feita uma manutenção durante a existência da mesma.
Nesta dissertação procuram-se estudar as patologias em edifícios antigos, cuja
construção data entre o século XIX e o século XX. Vão ser estudadas as patologias
compreendidas nos casos de estudo e as suas possíveis causas. São ainda
apresentados métodos de diagnóstico que poderão ser utilizados.
Nos três edifícios estudados, é feito um enquadramento histórico e uma análise
detalhada das patologias. Na reabilitação da Universidade Lusófona do Porto é também
apresentada a proposta do projeto de reabilitação, que está inserida nos anexos.
Por fim, comparam-se as patologias dos três edifícios e as causas das mesmas.

Pathologies are anomalies that arise in a construction throughout its life, and it is essential that maintenance is carried out during its existence. This dissertation seeks to study the pathologies in old buildings, whose construction dates between the 19th and 20th centuries. There will be studied pathologies included in the case studies and its possible causes. Diagnostic methods that can be used are also presented. In the three studied buildings, a historical framework and a detailed analysis of the pathologies are made. In the rehabilitation of the Universidade Lusófona of Porto, the proposal for the rehabilitation project is also presented, which is included in the annexes. Finally, a comparison is made of the pathologies of the three buildings and their causes.
