dc.description.abstractA pandemia Covid-19 levantou inúmeras questões que desafiaram a intervenção social. Este estudo tem como objetivos conhecer, em época de pandemia, os desafios impostos na dinâmica de Casas de Acolhimento (CA), as alterações ao nível do funcionamento das crianças e as práticas de intervenção adotadas. A amostra é constituída por 27 elementos, duas diretoras técnicas, duas assistentes sociais, duas psicólogas, quatro educadores de infância e dezassete auxiliares de educação. A metodologia utilizada foi de caráter qualitativo, e as técnicas suportaram-se na entrevista semiestruturada e na análise de conteúdo no âmbito da interpretação. Como resultados, o desafio mais identificado foi a dificuldade em manter as crianças restritas à CA; a maioria dos participantes relatou maior agitação e instabilidade das crianças e maior aproximação destas ao adulto; as práticas de intervenção mais utilizadas junto das crianças foram um maior cuidado ao nível das rotinas de higienização e existência de procedimentos de isolamento; junto das entidades jurídicas e das equipas parceiras, o teletrabalho e o recurso às plataformas digitais; na saúde, as consultas via telefone e as videochamadas, nos restantes domínios, utilização de novas tecnologias. Conclui-se, na relação das perceções das equipas técnica e não técnica, que a maioria das respostas foram consensuais, que os desafios impostos na dinâmica da CA foram maioritariamente ao nível da gestão das crianças, as alterações ao nível do funcionamento das crianças traduziu-se em instabilidade e as práticas de intervenção foram centradas na higienização e no uso da tecnologia.pt
dc.description.abstractThe Covid-19 pandemic raised numerous issues that challenged social intervention. The purpose of this study is to examine the imposed challenges to foster home dynamics, changes in children's behavior, and applied intervention practices in times of pandemic. The sample considers 27 elements: two technical directors, two social assistants, two psychologists, four preschool teachers and seventeen educational assistants. The methodology used was qualitative, and the techniques were based on semi-structured interviews and content analysis in the context of interpretation. The most frequently cited challenge was the difficulty of keeping children restricted to homes care. In terms of children’s behavior, the majority of the participants reported increasing unrest among children, instability and closer contact with adults. Regarding intervention practices for children, the most common were greater care in hygiene routines and the presence of isolation procedures. In the case of legal entities and partner teams, it is remote work and the use of digital platforms; in the health sector, telephone inquiries and video calls; and finally, in the remaining sectors, the use of new technologies. In conclusion, in the list of the perceptions of the technical and non-technical teams, most of the answers were consensual, that the challenges imposed in the dynamics of RC were mainly at the level of the management of children, the changes in the level of the functioning of the children translated into instability and the intervention practices were centered on the hygiene and use of technology.en
