Esta dissertação teve por objetivo geral descrever como está sendo contemplado o Direito Ambiental nos cursos jurídicos oferecidos em faculdades de Salvador; os objetivos específicos foram identificar o lugar que a disciplina ocupa na grade curricular dos
cursos de Direito de Salvador; conhecer o perfil e a receptividade dos professores que
ministram a disciplina; verificar a importância e as relações intercurriculares a ela atribuídas
pelos professores e apresentar sugestões para o ensino jurídico. Realizou-se a
análise de discurso, através da técnica da entrevista semi-estruturada com questões
abertas, sob o enfoque da Teoria das Representações Sociais. Foram entrevistados professores
e coordenadores de cursos de Direito, que ministram aula de Direito Ambiental
nas principais instituições de ensino jurídico em Salvador, no período setembro de
2009 a maio de 2010. Concluiu-se que o ensino do Direito Ambiental em faculdades
de Salvador é inadequado e sugeriram-se algumas alterações tais como obrigatoriedade
do oferecimento da disciplina, titulação mínima de mestre para o corpo docente; estabelecimento
de uma carga horária mínima de 60 horas para o componente curricular,
eventos na área, atividades de cunho prático e o desenvolvimento de ações de educação
ambiental na academia.
This paper aims to describe how is being contemplated Environmental Law in Law Schools offered at colleges of Salvador. The specific objectives were to identify the conditions of eligibility and procedure for Environmental Law occupy a place in the Law Schools curriculum, understand the profile and responsiveness of teachers that teach discipline, verifying the importance and relations intercurriculares assigned to it by teachers and suggestions for legal education. We conducted the as methodology the analysis of discourse, through the technique of semi-structured interview with open questions, with a focus on Social Representation Theory. We interviewed teachers and coordinators of Law Schools, who teach classes on Environmental Law in the major institutions of Law Schools in Salvador, in the period September 2009 to may 2010. It was concluded that the teaching of Environmental Law in Law Schools in Salvador is inadequate and suggested a few changes such as mandatory offering of discipline, to endorse the a minimal master degree for faculty, establishment of a minimum workload of 60 hours for the component curricular, regular seminars events in the area, and oriented activities on development of environmental education at the academy.
