Gestão dos tempos livres de crianças no 1.º ciclo: realidade da freguesia de São Domingos de Rana

Resumo
A infância é destacada pela ausência de tempos livres e pelo prolongamento de horário em contexto escolar, fortemente
impulsionado pelos pais e pelos agentes educativos. O nosso objetivo será o de compreender a importância das atividades de
tempos livres para o desenvolvimento saudável das crianças que frequentam as escolas do 1º ciclo da freguesia de São
Domingos de Rana. Utilizamos uma abordagem metodológica qualitativa envolvendo uma amostra de nove personalidades
circunscrevendo visões e saberes de áreas interdisciplinares imprescindíveis para objetivos definidos. A recolha de dados inclui a
entrevista exploratória, a qual comporta a definição e as características do conceito de família, a identificação das caraterísticas
sociodemográficas das famílias residentes na freguesia de São Domingos de Rana, a definição do conceito de infância e as suas
características, a caracterização das instituições de resposta aos tempos livres e a definição de tempos livres e, por fim, a
identificação do mercado de trabalho desta freguesia. Os resultados mais relevantes observados evidenciam a evolução das
estruturas familiares, enquanto modelo principal de vida da criança, com a conjugalidade marcada pelo paradoxo da existência
de afeto, identitário do contexto familiar, e da redução de tempo de qualidade entre pais e filhos. As características
sociodemográficas das famílias residentes na freguesia de São Domingos de Rana são potenciadas pela sua génese e
caracterizadas por uma população heterógena, interventiva na sociedade e com estabilidade económica e social. As instituições
de resposta aos tempos livres na freguesia de São Domingos de Rana são classificadas pela escolarização, com a escola a
adquirir maior representatividade, em resposta às necessidades dos pais. As estruturas familiares são destacadas em contexto
educativo e em contexto de mercado de trabalho, no sentido em que a sua articulação condiciona o desempenho das famílias.
Childhood is highlighted by the absence of free time/schedule and the extension of school schedule, powered by parents and school tutors. Our main goal is to understand the importance of the activities of free time for the healthy development of children who attend primary schools from the council of São Domingos de Rana. We approached a qualitative method envolving a test of nine individuals from interdisciplinary areas essential for our study goals. The information that we gathered includes an exclusive interview which showcases the definition and trademarks of the concept of family. Identifying sociodemographic features of families, residents in the council of São Domingos de Rana. The definition of the concept of childhood and their features, the description of institutions in response of the free schedule/time, the definition of free schedule/time and lastly, the identification of the labor market in the council of São Domingos de Rana. The most noteworthy results, the results that standout the most are the evolution of family structures, whilst main template of a child's life, with the conjugality marked by the paradox of the existence of affection, the identity of the context of family and the reduction of family time between parents and their children. The sociodemographical features of families residing in the council of São Domingos de Rana are enhanced by their genesis and characterized by a heterogeneous population, intervening in society and with an economic and social stability. The institutions that responded on free schedule/time in the council of São Domingos de Rana are classified by schooling, with the school acquiring a larger representation, in response to the necessities of parents. Family structures are highlighted in an educational context and in a labor market context, in the sense that their articulation conditions the families performance.
