É sabido que as novas TIC’s vêm se tornando, de forma crescente, importantes instrumentos
de nossa cultura e sua utilização um meio concreto de inclusão e interação no mundo. Mas,
como tem sido a inserção das TIC’s na escola? Como os professores têm se posicionado em
uma sociedade marcadamente tecnológica? Diante do exposto, o objetivo deste estudo é
analisar usos e contributos das TIC’s na atividade docente de professores de escolas públicas.
Para tanto, foi realizado um estudo de campo que contou com a participação de professores de
Escolas Públicas de Patos – PB. Os principais resultados indicaram que os professores
encontram dificuldades para trabalharem com as TIC’s em sala de aula, principalmente por
falta de formação para uso das ferramentas tecnológicas no contexto pedagógico, falta de
estrutura e motivação. Em contrapartida, as TIC’s ocasionam melhorias em termos de
proporcionar aulas mais atraentes e a motivação de alunos para ampliação dos conhecimentos.
Assim, foi possível concluir que a escola precisa viabilizar o processo de formação e
capacitação do corpo docente, bem como equipar e manter em funcionamento as ferramentas
disponibilizadas para uso pedagógico e dos alunos.
It is known that new ICTs are becoming, increasingly, important instruments of our culture and use a concrete means of inclusion and interaction in the world. But, as has been the integration of ICT in school? How teachers have positioned themselves in a markedly technological society? Given the above, the objective of this study is to analyze uses and contributions of ICT in teaching activity of public school teachers. To this end, it conducted a field study that included the participation of Ducks Public Schools teachers - PB. The main findings indicated that teachers find it difficult to work with ICT in the classroom, mostly for lack of training for the use of technological tools in the educational context, lack of structure and motivation. On the other hand, ICTs bring about improvements in terms of providing more attractive classes and motivation of students to expand knowledge. Thus, it was concluded that the school needs to facilitate the process of formation and training of the teaching staff as well as equip and maintain in place the tools available for pedagogical use and students.
